Terms of Service
Effective date: to be set at public launch.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Network Crusader platform. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you (“User,” “you,” “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
1.1 What Network Crusader Provides
Network Crusader (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is a content automation platform that enables users to generate written content using third-party artificial intelligence APIs. The Service provides:
- A user interface for configuring and submitting content generation requests
- Integration with third-party AI model providers via a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model
- Content storage, organization, and management tools
- WordPress publishing integration
- Credit-based access to Service features
1.2 What Network Crusader Does NOT Provide
Network Crusader is a platform and interface layer only. We do not:
- Provide AI model services directly
- Guarantee the quality, accuracy, truthfulness, originality, or fitness for purpose of any generated content
- Provide legal advice regarding the use of generated content
- Guarantee availability or performance of third-party AI providers
- Review or moderate content generated through the Service
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2.2 Account Registration
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Keep your account credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at gregory@digitalrooftop.com
- Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
2.3 Business Accounts
If you register on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and “you” shall refer to both you and that entity.
3. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) — API Keys
This section is critical. Read it carefully.
3.1 How BYOK Works
Network Crusader uses a Bring Your Own Key model. To use content generation features, you must provide API keys issued to you directly by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, or others). You access these providers through your own account and at your own expense.
3.2 Your Responsibilities for API Keys
You are solely responsible for:
- Obtaining valid API keys from the applicable provider(s)
- Complying with each provider’s terms of service, usage policies, and acceptable use policies
- All costs, fees, and charges incurred with each AI provider through use of your API keys via Network Crusader
- Maintaining the security of your API keys and your provider accounts
- Immediately rotating any API key you believe has been compromised (revoking at your provider and replacing in Network Crusader)
- Monitoring and managing your spending limits and quotas with each provider directly
3.3 API Key Security
Network Crusader encrypts your API keys using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage. The plaintext key is never stored in our database. However:
- Network Crusader cannot guarantee absolute security. No security system is impenetrable.
- In the event of a security incident, you should rotate your API keys immediately.
- You are responsible for any costs incurred before you discover and respond to a compromise.
3.4 BYOK Liability Disclaimer
NETWORK CRUSADER IS NOT LIABLE FOR:
- Any charges, fees, or costs incurred with third-party AI providers through use of your API keys, regardless of how those charges arise
- Unauthorized use of your API keys if your Network Crusader account is compromised due to your failure to maintain account security
- API key misuse resulting from your own actions or negligence
- Provider-side security incidents, downtime, or data handling practices
- Any content generated via your API key that violates a provider’s terms of service
- Account suspension or termination by AI providers related to your usage patterns
- API key rate limits, quota exhaustion, or spending cap overages
You acknowledge that your AI provider relationship is entirely separate from your Network Crusader relationship, and that provider charges are your sole responsibility.
3.5 Third-Party Provider Terms
Your use of Network Crusader to generate content is also subject to the terms and acceptable use policies of whatever AI provider’s API key you are using. You agree to comply with all applicable provider policies.
4. Credits
4.1 Credit System
Network Crusader uses a credit system to access platform features. Credits are distinct from, and independent of, any costs you incur with your AI provider.
4.2 Credit Purchases
During the beta period, credits are granted by Network Crusader and cannot be purchased.
4.3 Credit Refunds
Credits are automatically refunded for jobs that fail due to a Network Crusader error. Credits are not automatically refunded if a job fails due to:
- An invalid, expired, or rate-limited API key
- Provider-side errors or outages
- Content that fails to meet your specifications when the job otherwise completes
4.4 Signup Credits
New accounts receive a promotional credit balance upon registration. Promotional credits are subject to change or discontinuation without notice.
5. Content Ownership
5.1 Content You Provide
You retain all ownership rights in any content, prompts, configurations, keywords, and other materials you provide to the Service (“Input Content”). By submitting Input Content, you grant Network Crusader a limited, non-exclusive license to use that content solely to provide the Service to you.
5.2 Generated Content
Content generated by AI models using your API key (“Generated Content”) is output from your provider’s AI system. Ownership of Generated Content is governed by:
- The terms of service of the AI provider whose API key you used
- Applicable copyright and intellectual property law in your jurisdiction
Network Crusader makes no representations or warranties regarding:
- Your ownership of or rights to Generated Content
- Whether Generated Content is subject to copyright, originality, or other intellectual property protections
- Whether Generated Content may infringe third-party intellectual property rights
You are solely responsible for:
- Determining whether you have rights to use, publish, or commercially exploit Generated Content
- Reviewing Generated Content for accuracy, legal compliance, and fitness for your intended purpose
- Any consequences of publishing, distributing, or otherwise using Generated Content
- Obtaining legal advice on the IP status of Generated Content if relevant to your use case
5.3 Network Crusader’s Ownership
Network Crusader owns all rights to the Service platform, interface, codebase, and infrastructure. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.
